So busy week with lots of meetings/Less time for sleep

Every time I am at a loss, I always think why I stay in my present job as work seems to occupy 90% of my life. What will this work bring back to me ? Good recognition ?
I shouldn't expect anything back from my work ? What's the purpose of working ?
